Orillia Passionately Sweet Honey is harvested from our apiary in the Orillia area, located in Simcoe County, which is a part of the Huronia region of Central Ontario. Orillia is nicely nestled between Lake Couchiching to the northeast and Lake Simco to the southeast. This honey is NOT BLENDED with any other honeys located outside our Orillia Apiary. This community of beehives is situated in Country Rural valley between hills, pines, and a natural stream. They are peacefully placed among ground level trees, shrubs for winter protection, with clean/clear flight access to areas of wildflowers, apple trees and more. This honey is lovely in all spectrums, with a medium amber to gold in colour, soft distinct floral taste, and pleasant aroma. Of course, every year that recipe of colour, taste and aroma may change depending on the available resources. Give it a try and decide for yourself. Feedback is always welcome.
Happ-bee Day… 😊
Please Note: All real honey will crystallize. This is a natural process that all real honeys achieve, to preserve its quality and flavor uniqueness. To find out more about natural honey crystallization and how to liquify it should you desire, check out our page on “The Honey”.
