Nelson Butterfly Sweet RAW Honey is harvested from our apiary in the former Township known as Nelson, now known as the Town of Milton, part of the Halton Region, in Southern Ontario, Canada. This honey is NOT BLENDED with any other honeys located outside our Nelson Apiary. This community of beehives are nettle nestled in a small opening among an abundance of trees, shrubs, urban spaces, including a wealth of wild flora beneath the tall canopy of green and more. This challenging combination produces a distinct posh tasting honey when available. Balanced in colour, light to medium gold/amber. Of course, every year that recipe and colour changes depending on the available resources. This Apiary doesn’t provide volumes of honey but makes it up in richness and outstanding tasty ones in limited splendor. If you have a chance to try any honey, this one is not to bee looked over. It will not disappoint. Give it a try and decide for yourself. Feedback is always welcome.
Happ-bee Day… 😊
Please Note: All real honey will crystallize. This is a natural process that all real honeys achieve, to preserve its quality and flavor uniqueness. To find out more about natural honey crystallization and how to liquify it should you desire, check out our page on “The Honey”.
